Chillhouse Designer is a unique and innovative interior design studio that focuses on creating beautiful and functional spaces. Our team of talented and experienced designers are dedicated to creating custom designs that combine comfort, style, and functionality.

The owners had a vision of a sleek and modern entrance lobby, but they didn't want the typical metal safety door that many homes had. So, a 32mm thick panel was used to construct a safety door with a customised metal mesh in the centre. To give the entrance lobby a sleek and minimal look, concealed LEDs were used to light up the area. The electrical duct door was also covered with the same laminate as the rest of the lobby to camouflage it with the other elements.

Moving onto the living room, the family wanted a simple and elegant design with minimal decorations. We completed the space with a small chandelier and an antique-looking wall clock that the owners already owned. To create more storage space in the kitchen, the common wall between the living room and kitchen was extended using marine ply, but we were aware that over time, cracks could develop in the paint where two different materials were joined. To avoid this, an MDF board was used to conceal the crack if it ever generated.

To visually separate the living and dining spaces, we provided a false arch that belonged to the same colour palette as the living room. The dining area also had a minimal design for the false ceiling, complimented with elegant hanging lights. A Pooja Ghar was designed in the dining space with ambient light provided using acrylic sheet. A beautifully carved, customised MDF was used to enclose the space.

For the kid's bedroom, the family wanted a pink colour palette for their beautiful baby girl. The wardrobe was completed with flushed handles and a dresser was added to the room for dual-purpose use as a guest bedroom. The study unit had additional floating shelves for additional storage along with spotlights directing towards the tabletop for better vision. To complete the room, a bubble-gum pink backrest and a cute fan were added that went with the theme and colour palette.

Overall, the family wanted to keep the same colour palette throughout the house to reduce the inventory of matching linens and curtains for each room.
